When was the first time you heard the word “misophonia”?
For Hayley, putting a label to her experience changed everything. It showed her that she was not alone and gave her a chance to understand her misophonia better.
“The toll that misophonia can take on someone’s life is very underestimated,” says Hayley. “If people truly understood it, there would be more empathy and kindness towards those who live with it.”
