“My story is a lot to share but I’m glad to see that studies are being done on misophonia. I have felt crazy all my life and misunderstood by so many, isolating myself because of sounds. My son has it too. I hate to know he’ll have to endure the misery I have to life with,” shared McKenzie.

Everyone with misophonia experiences it in different ways. McKenzie shares not only her story, but her son's story as well. She worries that he may face the same challenges that she did.We are hopeful that Misophonia Research will change this.
